As I write this, I'm
watching the rain through the window beside my desk. Typically, we have
snow this time of year. In my younger days, I'd squeeze my eyes shut and
wish hard for snow, thinking that the harder I wanted it, the more
likely the snow would fall. Now I've learned that whether it snows or
not, it's still the holidays. It's still the time to take off from work
or school, do the things that bring us joy, and spend time with those we
love. It's still the time to reflect on our good fortune and give
thanks. And it's still the time to know that next year is another chance
to make things even better!
May you enjoy this holiday season, with the ones you love, doing what you love. Happy Holidays!
